tour operators. We have always been innovators and where Arena lead,
others try to follow.
Quality of Service
Ever since the company was founded, we've aimed for, and tried to
maintain, the highest standard in the choice of hotels, airlines,
coaches and even local guides, in the production of quality colour
brochures, and in the selection of tour managers who will represent
us and serve our clients in the very best manner possible.
Flexibility
Whilst we at Arena like to think of ourselves as forward-looking
with big ideas, we also consciously retain the prime advantage of
a relatively small company - flexibility. At Arena, where travel
is concerned, we can do almost anything. Because we don't have a
set programme in a travel agent's brochure rack it means that every
tour we undertake is tailor-made.
The flexibility and effort
to maintain high standards are also reflected in the fact that Arena
people from every department - be it Operations, Reservations, Sales,
and even the Chairman himself! - have at one time or another worked
overseas as a tour manager, thus giving them an invaluable first
hand insight into how holidays actually operate, the difficulties
that occaisionally crop up, and the public's reaction both good
and bad.
The experience thus gained stands everyone in good stead when it
comes to dealing with the realities and day-to-day organisation
of the tour.
Experience
Ever since we first began operating, our tours have always encompassed
the globe. Because we have never relied purely on the numbers of
passengers moved, we have never limited ourselves to one or two
specific areas of the world. Over the years we have operated tours
to all quarters of the compass - Japan, Australia, South America,
North America, the Middle East, New Zealand, Russia, South Africa,
Europe and so on. We have thus built up a great rapport with hotels,
airlines, shipping companies, local agents, etc., everywhere. The
biggest advantage that this pan-global activity has given us, however,
is experience in meeting new challenges and frontiers, and confidence
to overcome them and push them back.
