The Hotel
The Alpine Palace
The 5 star Alpine Palace Luxus Resort is made up of two parts; the new ultra-modern five star hotel, which was added in 2008, and the original Wolf Haus hotel. Clients can choose between the beautiful deluxe state of the art rooms in the new building or traditional wood panelled bedrooms in a rustic setting in the original part of the hotel where you can take advantage of the lower room rates, yet still enjoy all the 5 star services this luxury hotel has to offer. All included meals will be taken within the new part of the building. Individual guests may of course dine in one of the other hotel’s restaurants at a supplement.
The outstanding recreational facilities are free to guests, offering a superb gym, indoor pool with different saunas, whirlpools and steam baths. There is also a fantastic outdoor salt water pool located high on a sunny terrace with amazing views across the mountains and valley.
There will be many optional scenic excursions available during your holiday including trips to Salzburg and Berchtesgaden, Hitler’s Eagles Nest. The beautiful lakeside town of Zell am See is easily accessible by local bus plus the glacier and dams at Kaprun are also within reach.
Traditional Rooms:
These rooms are in the older part of the hotel and smaller than the exceptionally large Deluxe rooms. They are traditional wood panelled rooms with bath, shower, wc, phone, radio, cable TV and some have a balcony.
Deluxe Rooms:
These rooms are in the new 5 star building that was added to the hotel in 2008. They are larger than the traditional rooms. Deluxe 45 square metres. Bedroom with separate seating area, bathroom with shower and toilet, twin sink and bidet, hairdryer, flat screen TV radio, phone, safe, mini bar, balcony.
Suites:
The suites offer the same facilities as the deluxe rooms but are 50 metres square.

Please note: All double/twin beds in the Traditional part of the hotel have typical Austrian-style beds i.e. one bed frame with 2 mattresses and 2 quilts. The Deluxe rooms offer both an Austrian bed and separate beds. If you require separate twin beds you will need to book a Deluxe Room and request separate twin beds at the time of booking.
The hotel offers a number of different lounges and terraces to relax in, all with incredible views. There is also an art gallery, library and four exceptional restaurants with award winning culinary delights.
