There is so much to see and do in Lisbon that we have opted to play bridge every evening only, leaving you time during the day to enjoy this exceptional city. Take a tram ride to Belem where in the 6th century the Belem Tower guarded the entrance to Lisbon, and the museum focuses on the city’s rich maritime past. A visit to Alfama, Lisbon’s oldest neighbourhood with is narrow streets and Castelo de Sao Jorgo is not to be missed.

For those of you wishing to travel further afield we offer an optional excursion to Sintra, beautifully set between castles and mountains, and once the summer refuge for the Lisbon nobility.
