Elvis Summer Break 2012Your Hotel

The Victoria Hotel
The 3 Star Victoria Hotel combines Victorian elegance with a high level of comfort and guest satisfaction. The well-furnished guestrooms, all with en suite facilities, have TV/radio, direct dial telephone and tea/coffee making facilities. In the beautiful restaurant, with it’s unique, glass domed ceiling, you will be served a dinner selection each evening and there’s a superb ‘full-English’breakfast buffet to start each day. But this is by no means all that awaits you.

The Victoria Hotel is part of the THL Leisure Resort where four hotels are linked together by a fantastic leisure facility comprising a massive indoor swimming pool with wonderful Spa facilities and hair salon (ladies, there’s some serious pampering here!), an outdoor pool, sun deck and tennis courts, an indoor bowls arena, a massive games room with four full size ten pin bowling lanes, snooker, pool and table tennis, and if the thought of all that activity is wearing you out there’s a whole assortment of bars and lounges to relax in.

For our special Elvis weekend we have taken over the two ballrooms at the hotel – with the daytime activities in one and with our evening entertainment in the other. With all the facilities within the hotel complex to enjoy and the many and varied attractions in and around Torquay to visit, we know that you are in for a real treat on this holiday. Do as much, or as little, as you please – just enjoy!

Torquay
Regarded as the jewel in the crown of the English Riviera, Torquay is famed for its position on Devon’s sunny south coast. The town itself is built among seven hills seemingly covered with classic Victorian villas and hotels and linked by elegant streets leading down to sandy beaches and a bustling marina. The town centre, rich in history (as well as shopping opportunities!) has an abundance of bars, restaurants and places to just sit and watch the world pass by. Once a quintessential English seaside resort Torquay is now a cosmopolitan holiday hot-spot.
