CLARION ADMIRAL HOTEL, BERGEN
Built in the early 19th century as a waterfront warehouse, the handsome red brick façade of the Clarion Admiral makes for an imposing sight on Bergen’s scenic harbour. The hotel is tastefully decorated with a maritime theme and guests can enjoy drinks in the lobby bar, or out on the jetty with fabulous views over the water. Food comes courtesy of Emily’s Restaurant where there’s a Scandinavian breakfast buffet each morning, and the Sjøtønnen seafood restaurant. THON HOTEL, KIRKENES
The new Thon Hotel Kirkenes opened in May 2010 and enjoys an excellent location on the wharf in the centre of this northerly city. The hotel is modern in design and has a restaurant serving both local and international dishes, plus a bar with an outdoor area offering fantastic harbour views.
