Your Itinerary

Day 1 Lunchtime flight from London Heathrow to Rome, then onward to Assisi via private coach.
Check in to the four-star Hotel Giotto, your home for the next week, before getting to know the rest of the group during a Welcome Dinner hosted by Karin.

Day 2 Morning guided walking tour of stunning Assisi, taking in all the major sights. With its narrow winding streets, glorious old buildings and plethora of churches brimming with dazzling art treasures, there’s inspiration for your work around every corner.
The rest of the day is yours to explore enchanting Assisi at your leisure, before enjoying dinner at the hotel with the group.

Days 3 & 4 Two full days of morning and afternoon quilting sessions with
Karin, in the comfort of the hotel. Let our expert inspire you with her specially conceived Assisi project – or simply enjoy continuing with your own work in the company of the group.
A chance to swap tips and make new friends over dinner at the hotel.

Day 5 Spend the morning relaxing on a café terrace or take the chance to further explore the architectural gems of this lovely town.
After lunch head to the Accademia Punto Assisi, dedicated to preserving the art of traditional hand embroidery in Assisi. Learn all about the local techniques of Madama Caterina and Punto Assisi, and admire the beautiful results achieved by modern-day practitioners of these ancient crafts.
Dinner is with the group in the hotel.

Days 6 & 7 Two further days of quilting with Karin, with both morning and afternoon sessions. A chance to chat, progress your work and learn.
After a hard day’s quilting, relax over dinner with the group, with a chance to say your ‘arrivederci’s at a final farewell dinner.

Day 8 Late morning transfer to Rome airport by private coach for the mid-afternoon flight
to London Heathrow.
