We are pleased to return to this delightful lakeside hotel in 2018 for our second visit. First for Bridge guests have rated this hotel very highly for its excellent food; friendly staff and fabulous location.

The position of the Seespitz Hotel could not be more perfect!

It is situated on the edge of the Wildersee, a lovely alpine lake that is dominated by the majestic mountains behind. Yet just a flat few minutes’ walk takes you into the heart of Seefeld with its friendly traffic free centre, quaint coffee shops, casino, and wide selection of shops. The Seespitz definitely commands the best position out of all the 90 hotels in Seefeld.

Relax in the gardens of the hotel with its outdoor swimming pool where you will find plenty of sunbeds and terraces. There is even a bathing jetty so you can take a dip in the lake directly from the hotel grounds. A relaxing 45 minute walk will take you right around the lake, where there are many well positioned resting places to stop and enjoy the scenery and feed the birds. It is simply idyllic!

Walking & hiking in Seefeld can be as easy or difficult as you want, and the local tourist office runs an excellent weekly walking programme. Even if you are not a walker don’t miss a trip on the funicular train and cable car to the top of the mountains for spectacular views across the valley and Alps. Each day at breakfast you will receive a newsletter telling you about included guided walks; local markets and weekly concerts & events in the village - mostly free to hotel guests.

Golfers can enjoy the 9 hole driving range directly opposite the hotel, and 10 other professional golf courses in the area. (Discounts available at the hotel).

Getting around the Tyrol could not be easier - there is a train station in the centre of Seefeld and within 40 minutes you can be right in the very heart of Innsbruck. There is also a local bus service that links all the nearby villages, and the shuttle bus to the mountain lifts is free of charge.

We think the Seespitz is a very good standard hotel. Breakfast and dinner are excellent quality and in the afternoons you can enjoy the included cake buffet.

Staff at the hotel cannot do enough to make your stay as pleasurable as possible, and the hotel is spotlessly clean. We cannot praise this hotel highly enough!

During your duplicate bridge holidays nothing is obligatory, you can play in as many or as few bridge sessions as you wish. Our bridge programmes will vary according to the length of your break and in addition to playing bridge, we will always endeavour to provide a minimum of two bridge seminars for breaks of 7 days or more.

All First for Bridge holidays include bridge tuition and seminars with a varied and interesting duplicate bridge programme. Duplimated boards will be used every evening to ensure fairness and consistency. Bridge hand records will be provided.

Your duplicate bridge will usually be available twice daily, at 2.30pm and 7.45pm. The afternoon sessions usually finish between 4.45pm and 5pm, the evenings between 10.45pm - 11.15pm. The afternoons are normally given over to open pairs/teams. We endeavour to vary the evening sessions, with a balance between teams and pairs, with at least one Swiss style event during a two-week bridge break.

During all evening sessions, we utilise a duplimate machine, which means we are able to produce hand record sheets at the end of the session and when we have two or more sections, both can play the same hands. On our UK duplicate bridge breaks, provided numbers allow, we usually will lay on an "Early Bird" afternoon session on the day of arrival.

We don’t forget you are on holiday, our bridge programmes allow time for relaxation plus giving you plenty of opportunity to explore the surrounding area and relax.
