"The Loch Ness Knitting Festival was such a blast last year, I imagine it will even better this time around! I’m looking forward to seeing all the wonderful shops again and maybe even attending a few workshops. Touring the Loch was brilliant before – it’s a great experience to knit while cruising across the water."- Louise Smith

"I am looking forward to that fresh highlands air and the chance to drink in the knowledge and expertise from some of the UK’s most accomplished crafters at the Loch Ness Knit Fest show. I am also really looking forward to the traditional highland feast, a wonderful event, especially if you like haggis!" - Sara Huntington

DAY 1:

Join us at your hotel in Inverness. The afternoon is at leisure and you may wish to explore the charming capital of the Highlands. See the Castle and St Andrews Cathedral overlooking the River Ness, stroll past the historic buildings of the Old Town and browse the shops selling traditional tartan and kilts. This evening join Louise Smith from Simply Knitting and Sara Huntington from Simply Crochet for a welcome reception and dinner in the hotel.

DAY 2:

This morning's included excursion is to Johnstons of Elgin, who since 1797 have been creating the finest woollen and cashmere cloth, clothing and accessories. After a tour of the mill and visit to their shop the coach will return to Inverness. Alternatively you may choose to book (at additional cost) one of the many hands-on workshops on offer from the organisers of the Loch Ness Knit Fest. A transfer to the venue for the workshops will be provided in the morning and back to the hotel at the end of the day. (It is possible to combine the included excursion with an afternoon workshop). This evening you have the option to enjoy a traditional Scottish Ceilidh (additional cost), or you can simply 'knit & natter' with Louise, Sara and your fellow knitters in the hotel.

DAY 3:

A full day to immerse yourself in the amazing programme of events and shop in the vast marketplace of stalls at Loch Ness Knit Fest. You may choose to join a special Knit Fest cruise on Loch Ness (additional cost). Transfers between the hotel and Knit Fest are provided at the begining and end of the day. This evening we join the Loch Ness Knit Fest's traditional Highland Feast.

DAY 4:
