Day 1: Athens - Kea, Greece
Your cruise begins in Athens, where we’ll meet in the afternoon and board the ship between 1400-1500. Settle into your cabin and enjoy a welcome cocktail as you meet your experienced crew and captain as we sail to Kea.
Enjoy a welcome dinner with fellow guests this evening with a chance to explore Kea’s tiny port, Coressia before we sail overnight to Delos.
Day 2: Delos - Mykonos, Greece
Morning arrival into Delos where there is an optional tour to the unique archaeological site of Delos, antiquity’s most sacred island. We’ll then stop at one of Mykonos beautiful bays for a swim stop before sailing into the port of Mykonos where we’ll dock for the night, so there is plenty of time to explore the party atmosphere. Overnight in Mykonos.
Day 3: Santorini, Greece
We arrive at Santorini this morning (please note on some occasions the ship will be at anchor). Today's optional excursion takes you to the capital, visiting Fira, the Prehistoric Akrotiri Archaeological Site and finishing the tour in a typical traditional village, with breath-taking views over the Aegean Sea. Overnight sailing to Crete.
Day 4: Rethymnon, Crete
Morning arrival at Crete’s famous and lively port of Rethymnon. Optional tour to the ancient city of Knossos near Hera-klion. Late departure for Kythira.
Overnight at sea.
Day 5: Kythira, Greece
Late morning swim stop and afternoon arrival to Kythira, a less known island gem now fast becoming a favourite among visitors to Greece. Evening at leisure to visit the picturesque main town of Chora and experience the subdued charms of this peaceful island. Overnight in Kythira.
Day 6: Monemvasia - Nafplion, Greece
Early morning sailing to Monemvasia. Discover a remarkable medieval fortified town, with time at leisure to explore the uniquely preserved Byzantine and Venetian architecture and experience the beauty of the natural setting. Depart for Nafplion in the early afternoon, with a swim stop on the way. Evening arrival at Nafplion. The old quarter is charm-ing, with narrow streets and characteristic period architecture. Also, impressive medieval fortifications can be seen in the port and crowning the hills above.
Overnight in Nafplion.
Day 7: Nafplion - Hydra - Marina Zea, Greece
This morning why not join the optional excursion to Mycenae. We’ll explore this fascinating archaeological site, marvelling at the ancient Lion Gate, the impressive palace and the Agamemnon Tomb. Early afternoon we sail to the the island of Hydra with time at leisure to explore this picturesque port town. On board this evening we have the Captain’s Farewell Dinner.
Midnight arrival at Marina Zea, Athens.
Day 8: Athens
Today, it’s sadly time to head home. Enjoy breakfast at your leisure, then bid farewell to the captain, crew and ship, before disembarking and setting off on your return journey.
