3 Ideas for Handmade Gift Wrap

With not long to go until the big day, the pressure is on! We’ve just about finished the handmade gifts and have battled through the crowds to buy the stocking fillers but there’s still one task ahead: Wrapping! We love adding a personal touch to our presents & since we found out that the majority of wrapping paper & decorations aren’t actually recyclable, we’re always looking for other options. We’ve rounded up a few simple ideas to wrap your presents a little differently this year – they’ll be the prettiest under the tree!

1. HAND-PRINTED WRAPPING PAPER

Wrap your gifts in hand-printed wrapping paper. There are hundreds of techniques which can be used, from lino printing to simple paint splatters and even good old potato printing!

2. FABRIC PARCELS

If you’re looking for something even more eco-friendly, fabric wrap is a great alternative as it can be used again and again. There are some great tutorials online to turn you into a wrapping wiz!

3. THE FINISHING TOUCHES

The finishing touches will really take your wrapping to the next level. This year, we’re loving leafy sprigs and twine to add a rustic feel and we’ve also seen great ideas to use up scaps of fabric or even old jumpers!
