This is our best value UK bridge break. The Toorak Hotel is a well-established hotel that offers good food, great value for money, and is perfectly situated right in the heart of Torquay. Directly opposite the hotel, you will find Torre Abbey, a historic building and art gallery. Walk through the Abbey’s extensive gardens, featuring plants from local writer Agatha Christie’s novels, and you will be led directly onto the lovely seafront promenade.

What to expect from this Bridge holiday:
Our Bridge programmes will vary according to the length of your break, and, in addition to playing Bridge, we try to include interesting Bridge seminars, hosted by your Bridge Director.

Your duplicate Bridge will be available every evening between 7:45pm and 11:15pm and we endeavour to vary these evening sessions, balancing between teams and pairs.

Bridge will also be offered some afternoons between 2:30pm and 4:45pm. These sessions are normally given over to open pairs/teams.

During your Bridge holiday nothing is obligatory and you can play in as many, or as few, Bridge sessions as you wish. We don’t forget you are on holiday and our Bridge programmes also allow time to relax and the opportunity for you to explore the surrounding area.

Overview

The Toorak Hotel is situated close to the town centre and all the amenities this popular seaside resort has to offer. The 92-room hotel is a 2-storey building overlooking attractive gardens with terraces, which host weddings and won the 2017 Torbay in Bloom competition.

Hotel Facilities & Amenities

The hotel is one of four hotels situated alongside each other and they share extensive leisure facilities. The luxury spa boasts an indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub.

Guests can also play table tennis, and 10 pin bowling is available at a charge.
