Club Standard Bridge

This holiday is a club standard bridge holiday licensed by the EBU (English Bridge Union) with Masterpoints awarded and duplimated boards used. We have recently introduced electronic scoring to our holidays and hand records are also provided. Our qualified & experienced directors construct a programme of interesting seminars and varied bridge sessions to offer variety during each holiday.

Experience a discovery of the Canaries’ many sights and highlights, and simply enjoy some soothing warmth away from the UK’s winter gloom, as you visit five beautiful islands on consecutive days. At each island, you’ll find sandy beaches and glorious stretches of coastline providing the perfect place to soak up the sunshine; Gran Canaria’s rolling Maspalomas sand dunes and the popular resort beaches of Tenerife and Lanzarote are ideal locations for indulgent relaxation.

In addition to hours of sunbathing, you could see the volcanic wonders of La Palma and La Gomera too, and even get to feel the heat of the active lava fields created by Lanzarote’s Fire Mountains. Alternatively, on La Gomera, you may prefer to treat yourself to a restful day at the Olsen family owned Tecina Hotel. If you’re feeling adventurous, during your visit to Tenerife you could journey into the island’s volcanic interior and scale Mount Teide; while on Gran Canaria, the Agaete Valley boasts remarkable vistas awaiting discovery.

In the evenings we have exclusive use of the card room for our usual First for Bridge sessions with Masterpoints and prizes where we can accommodate up to 12 tables. There will also be some daytime bridge and seminars available on sea days.

Bolette

Overview

Proudly bearing the name of Fred. Olsen Jr.’s great-great-grandmother, as many other Olsen vessels have over the years, Bolette exudes classic, elegant style in her exterior and interior design, features spacious and comfortable public areas, and has all the facilities and special touches you need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

While she’s one of the largest ships, by overall size, in the Fred. Olsen fleet, Bolette has capacity for less than 1,400 guests.
