Bridge in Sicily, Acacia Marina ResortThe 4-star Acacia Marina Hotel stands in a stunning tropical garden and during our stay First for Bridge guests will have almost exclusive use of the facilities, which include a lovely outdoor pool with three large hot tubs on its terraces, tennis courts, sauna, gym and a small spa. We have a large bridge room with unlimited table space that is close to the airy lounge and bar, where guests can relax before and after bridge sessions. We have contracted both Building A and the brand new Palace Acacia building, which opened in May 2019, for our guests.By doing this we have the best positioned rooms that all have lift access, and the majority of rooms are recently refurbished. The new rooms in the Palace Acacia Building are all superior and brand new, beautifully furnished and spacious - well worth the upgrade. The Palace Acacia building will be sold as adult only by the hotel.Included to enhance your holiday:This incredible region of Sicily is so rich in history that it boasts no less than eight UNESCO sites directly within its borders. For this reason we simply had to INCLUDE three fabulous excursions in our holiday package to allow you to visit five of them and have them brought to life by our knowledgeable guides.
Please choose your preferred 1 day itinerary
Fly from London Gatwick with our flight inclusive package. Departures from Luton and Manchester airports may also be available for an additional supplement. On arrival in Catania, your transfer will also be included. At the start of your Bridge holiday you’ll be invited to join our Bridge director and host for a welcome meeting in the hotel. Any single travellers will have the opportunity to find a partner for the Bridge room. Our Bridge programmes will vary according to the length of your break, and, in addition to playing Bridge, we try to include interesting Bridge seminars, hosted by your Bridge Director. Your duplicate Bridge will be available every evening between 7.45pm and 11.15pm and we endeavour to vary these evening sessions, balancing between teams and pairs, with at least one Swiss style event during a two-week Bridge break. Bridge will also be offered some afternoons between 2.30pm and 4.45pm. These sessions are normally given over to open pairs/teams. During your Bridge holiday nothing is obligatory and you can play in as many, or as few, Bridge sessions as you wish. We don’t forget you are on holiday and our Bridge programmes also allow time to relax and the opportunity for you to explore the surrounding area.
