Join us for an idyllic bridge retreat in gorgeous South Devon. The Dartmouth Hotel, Golf & Spa is nestled in 225 acres of glorious South Devon countryside, offering a tranquil setting and perfect location to explore. It is just four miles from the historic naval town of Dartmouth, with its cobbled streets, artisan shops and cafés, tasty bistros, and tapas bars, as well as celebrity chefs serving local produce.
This lovely hotel, with a swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna, is the perfect venue for spa enthusiasts – a must try is the 'Rasul Mud Spa Experience' – and golfers will appreciate the two beautiful golf courses which offers a stiff challenge.
First for Bridge take over this lovely venue where we have exclusive use of the hotels 35 bedrooms and lovely Dartmouth Suite for bridge.
Whilst in Dartmouth, you can visit Coleton Fishacre, a fabulous historic house full of Art Deco furniture and set in stunning gardens and woodland. The Britannia Naval College offers a knowledgeable tour of Naval history, and the 14th-century Dartmouth Castle, an impressive fort on the mouth of the River Dart run by English Heritage, is worthy of a visit.

Meet us today at the Dartmouth Hotel, Golf & Spa.
Our bridge programmes will vary according to the length of your break, and, in addition to playing bridge, we try to include interesting bridge seminars, hosted by your EBU-qualified director.
Your duplicate bridge will be available every evening between 7:45pm and 11:15pm. We endeavour to vary these evening sessions, balancing between teams and pairs and featuring at least one Swiss event during a two-week break.
Bridge will also be offered some afternoons between 2:30pm and 4:45pm. These sessions are normally given over to open pairs/teams.
Masterpoints are awarded on evening bridge sessions, and on day sessions with over 5 tables.
During your bridge holiday, nothing is obligatory, and you can play in as many or as few bridge sessions as you wish. We don’t forget you are on holiday and our bridge programmes also allow time to relax, giving the opportunity for you to explore the surrounding area.
