Croatian Yoga Cruise

Travel to Split where we join our cruise ship and sail to Pučišća on the Brač island.  On board you will have time to get acquainted with the yoga teacher and fellow passengers at the first meditation session.  Overnight in the port of Pučišća

 

Early morning exercise on deck, followed by breakfast. After a morning swim in the crystal blue sea, we cruise towards the Korčula island with afternoon meditation on board in one of the tranquil bays. Once we arrive, we’ll head out on an excellent guided tour of the captivating town, with its rich culture and fascinating history. Discover the ancient fortified walls, learn all about the local heritage and see one of the cultural ceremonies, folk music shows and traditional dance performances that still often take place in the town. Choose from one of the many fabulous restaurants to indulge in a dinner of local delicacies, such as octopus or black risotto, before heading back to the ship.

Enjoy an early morning Yoga session on deck as we continue towards the Lastovo Nature Park, the furthest inhabited island in Dalmatia, which Romans called the Imperial Island. Docked in the Ubli port, there’s an opportunity to visit the protected Nature Park or visit the biggest town on the island – Lastovo. The Island is surrounded by many smaller islands, with plenty of secluded bays suitable for swimming, snorkelling, or if preferred, some personal meditation. This evening is Captain's dinner onboard. As you sail towards Vis Island enjoy an early morning yoga class, stopping at Ravnik Island, where the green cave is situated, named after the unusual greenish light that reflects in the sea from the hole on the top of the cave (entrance fee to green cave approx. €10pp paid on arrival), followed by a swim stop before docking at the idyllic island of Vis, which has only recently opened up to the public, discover its rich history, visit the remains of its Roman thermal baths and take a walk along the scenic waterfront, stopping at the cafés and bars that take your fancy. Early morning yoga session as we cruise towards the little island of Biševo to visit the Blue cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon (entrance fee to blue cave approx. €14pp paid on arrival). Next stop is Stari Grad on Hvar island, literally translated as ‘Old Town’, protected by UNESCO World Heritage status, alongside its neighbouring Stari Grad Plain, the best-preserved example of Ancient Greek agriculture. Explore the town’s historical old quarter, dating back to 384BC, and spend the evening discovering the best restaurants, cafés and late-night bars. 

We’ll spend the night in port.  

Awake the body and mind with the early morning yoga session on sun deck. After breakfast, cruise towards the beautiful island of Brač and the famous charming fishing village of Bol where we will search for a perfect spot for meditation. Bol is home to the most photographed beach in Croatia, the spectacular Zlatni Rat. Known as the Golden Horn, the beach’s long, pebble bar is constantly changing shape and direction as it curves with the wind and tide. Why not explore the restaurants offering excellent fresh fish, local wines and other authentic island delicacies or enjoy a lovely walk or cycle along the promenade, if you are feeling more active hike or rent a scooter up to Vidova Gora for a spectacular view of Bol and the surrounding islands
