Easter British Isles Discovery

This afternoon we board Ambience in Tilbury, settle into your cabin and explore the ships facilities as we set sail to Kirkwall, Orkney Isles.

Spend the day relaxing and getting to know your new surroundings as we spend the day at sea.

In bustling Kirkwall, the main town on Orkney, there's plenty to see in the narrow, winding streets extending from the harbour. The cathedral and some museums are highlights.

Today we stop at the port of Invergordon, located close to the famous Loch Ness, which is deep, dark and full of mystery, thanks to tales of the Loch Ness Monster.

Explore the pretty town’s charming colourful houses, all on the banks of a loch or follow the only roads around the northern part of the island to wonderful views.

Tobermory is the colourful capital of Tobermory on the Isle of Mull. Admire the pretty harbour with its colourful houses and wooden fishing boats, visit the local museum and art gallery, and keep your eyes peeled for the region’s spectacular wildlife.

The vibrant city of Belfast, birthplace of the RMS Titanic and capital of Northern Ireland. Wonder around the historical centre, take in sights such as the Grand Opera House, Albert Memorial, Botanic Gardens and Belfast City Hall, culminating at the Titanic Belfast, a state-of-the-art multimedia museum.

Cobh is home to Ireland’s only dedicated cruise terminal and famous for being the final port of call for the RMS Titanic before it set off on its maiden voyage.

We arrive this morning into the Isles of Scilly. Nestling in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean at the southwest tip of Cornwall, the stunning islands are a sub-tropical haven for plants and wildlife.

The second largest of the British Channel Islands, it later inspired Auguste Renoir to produce a whole series of paintings. Discover the island including the pretty capital of St. Peter Port which overlooks a sheltered harbour and the castle which harmoniously combines a mixture of architectural styles in a tangle of terraces and stepped gardens.

Le Havre, a major port in northern France, where the River Seine meets the English Channel.  The port city is a World Heritage Site was completely re-built after World War II. Explore the modern art museum, picturesque marina and beach.
