Today's workshop will focus on Playful Stitch. Use a variety of fabrics and threads to learn a series of stitches and let them guide you to create your own organic stitch sampler.

Today's workshop will focus on Sketching with Stitch – work from observation to translate what you see into stitch. For far too long embroidery hasn’t been seen as art, but just as with pencil and paper you can create lines and markings with needle and thread to create your own observational artwork.

Tour Notes: Although there are no mobility requirements for this tour, please note that you will need to be able to make your own way between our workshop room, your bedroom and the restaurant, which could involve walks of up to 5 minutes.
