Step back in history and witness the remarkable sand-tone Arabic architecture of the Kasbah, the oldest district of Agadir. Sail to Arrecife, the capital city of Lanzarote, yet brimming with Spanish authenticity. Island hop to Tenerife where you’ll find a fusion of luscious green landscapes, historic architecture and vibrant street art. Explore the volcanic island of El Hierro and discover San Sebastián, La Gomera, the final port of call for Christopher Columbus before he set sail for the New World.

Day 1: Casablanca, Morocco
Embark the Sea Cloud Spirit in Casablanca this afternoon, settle into your cabin and enjoy dinner on board. We set sail this evening.
Day 2: Cruising alongside Sea Cloud II
The two SEA CLOUD sisters follow the same course for several days. When both yachts glide along side by side under full sail, they offer a truly breathtaking spectacle.

Relax on board today as we enjoy a day at sea. Experience an exhibition of true sailing craft as the crew climb the masts to release the sails, a centuries-old ritual brought to life. Take advantage of the ship’s many facilities or simply sit back and watch the world go by.
Day 3: Agadir, Morocco
This morning we arrive at Agadir. Nearly fully destroyed by a devastating earthquake in 1960, Agadir is now the largest seaside resort in Morocco. Here you can climb to the oldest district in the city, the Kasbah, for impressive examples of medieval Arabic architecture as well as extraordinary views over the city. We depart Agadir this evening and set sail out into the Atlantic Ocean.
Day 4: Cruising alongside Sea Cloud II
Once again, you’ll be greeted by Sea Cloud II as we rejoin the same course on our journey towards our next destination, Lanzarote.
Day 5: Arrecife, Lanazrote
The small city of Arrecife boasts a proud heritage due to it not needing to rely on tourism to earn its keep. Spend the day exploring the largely unspoilt city’s narrow backstreets, humble bars, and sun-bleached buildings. You can also head to the new modern marina or walk into the old town where local delicacies such as churros are waiting to be sampled.

We set sail early afternoon to Tenerife.
Day 6: Santa Cruz, Tenerife
Arrive in Santa Cruz this afternoon, you will discover a luscious green landscape backed by a range of rolling hills. Quirky shops housed in brightly painted buildings nestle alongside historic architectural monuments, captivating museums and vibrant street art and welcoming cafes and restaurants surround the Plaza de Espana.

We set sail at midnight.
Day 7: Puerto de la Estace, El Hierro
The smallest of the Canary Islands, believed in Columbus’s day to be the very western edge of the world. The volcanic island was designated a UNESCO biosphere reserve in 2000 which you can explore today on an ebike optional excursion.

Set sail to la Gomera late this evening.
Day 8: San Sebastiàn, La Gomera
We arrive at the sleepy capital of San San Sebastián this morning. In the mid-15th century, this little fishing marina was the final port of call for Christopher Columbus before he set sail for the New World. The building in which he stayed is now a museum for any curious explorers. You can also visit the rustic old town, including the 18th century Church of the Assumption, the lush subtropical park and Torre del Conde fort, and the vibrant Mercado Municipal, which is home to some delicious gastronomic treasures and some of the tastiest local delicacies on the island.
Day 9: Las Palmas, Gran Canaria
Arrive at 07:00, disembark after breakfast.

Overview

To build a fully rigged three-master in the 21st century might seem a little unusual. For us, this is a commitment to our true passion for sailing. It all began with the legendary SEA CLOUD, followed by the SEA CLOUD II in 2001. But, as the saying goes, 'all good things come in threes!' So, with that in mind, we will be building on our many years of experience and successful concept and looking forward with great anticipation to the SEA CLOUD SPIRIT, which set sail for the first time in 2021. All yachts offer a captivating sailing experience, with the sails still rigged in the traditional way by hand. Enjoy all this and more in an elegant and casual, but above all intimate and welcoming atmosphere, facilitated by our peerless experienced crew.
