Today we travel by coach to thriving medieval market town of Ludlow. On arrival we are met by our walking guides who will take us on a fascinating tour through this historic town centre. Along the way you we will take in the sights of, the impressive ruins of Ludlow's Norman Castle, St Lawrence's Church (one of England's finest parish churches), many of the 600 listed buildings including the beautiful Broad Street and discover the stories of many historic characters who lived in the town, such as Catherine of Aragon, and the Princes in the Tower. After the tour concludes there is time to explore at leisure before we return by coach to our hotel. Dinner is in the hotel tonight, before we play evening Bridge.

We head off by coach this morning for a stop in Ironbridge, before heading on to Blists Hill Victorian Town. “Step back more than a hundred years and chat to the Townsfolk about their lives, explore their homes, workplaces and shops and see them at work in the Bakers, Candle Factory and Blacksmiths. This 52-acre site is a bustling recreation of a Victorian town where you can exchange pounds, shillings, and pence. Buy curious products in the Chemist, Grocers and Drapers; discover what life was like for a Victorian housewife in the Cottages and take a ride on the horse and carriage. With refreshment options available on site, you could, enjoy a pint of ale in the New Inn pub, a delicious portion of traditionally made fish & chips, treat yourself to a bag of traditional sweets or relax at one of our two catering facilities with a hot drink and slice of cake.”There is plenty of time to explore here before we return by coach to the hotel.
