This magnificent holiday offers the adventure of a lifetime and an exciting and unique way to experience the beauty of Scotland. Our journey begins in Edinburgh, where we board the famous Royal Scotsman for a two-night rail experience. Relax amongst the opulent surroundings, enjoy delicious meals, entertainment, and a choice of excursions. You will then enjoy two nights in Glasgow with free time to explore Scotland’s largest city before we continue to Oban, where we join our magnificent Hebridean Islands cruise. There is no better way to explore Scotland!

In Glasgow you will stay in carefully selected four-star hotel. Your stay will be on a bed-and-breakfast basis and will be confirmed with your booking documents. 

Hebridean Princess

Carrying no more than 50 guests, the Hebridean Princess has reputation providing exceptional service, fine food, and wine and an amazing intimate experience for those onboard. Each cruise is accompanied by experienced guides to provide you with the full Hebridean experience. The welcome on board is always warm with the cosy atmosphere of a country house provides the perfect space to relax wit loved ones or meet new friends.

Ship Facilities & Amenities
Restaurants All meals are served in the Columba Restaurant, where awe-inspiring scenery is on view through the picture windows. Whilst dinner is sometimes at anchor, breakfast and lunch are often taken en route for our next destination, as breath taking landscapes roll by. Weather permitting, light barbecues are sometimes held on deck and ashore. Lounges Dotted around the ship you will find cosy and peaceful lounges, quiet corners that are perfect for reading, and even a roaring fireplace in the Tiree Lounge.
Cabin Facilities & Amenities
On board there are thirty spacious, elegant and well-appointed cabins, 10 designed especially for the single traveller.

Royal Scotsman (a Belmont Train)


Comprised of fully-restored Pullman carriages, whilst on board you will be treated to a truly exclusive experience, with no more than 40 guests onboard. The Edwardian influence can be seen throughout the train in the elegant lounges and tasteful cabins.

Train Facilities & Amenities
During your time on board there will be a full excursion programme which showcases the very best that Scotland has to offer, from outdoor pursuits, tastings at world-class distilleries and castle visits. Whilst on board you will also be treated to delicious meals, fine wines and wonderful whiskies, as well as a wide range of entertainment. There is also an observation cart with deck, another treat for those wanting to embrace the sights.
Cabin Facilities & Amenities
All cabins feature plush furnishings in tartan and Scottish wools, a wardrobe and dressing table, and private shower room with luxury toiletries, bathrobe and quality pure white towels. The windows also open so you can get close to the sound of the track as you roll through the dramatic scenery.
