Our first destination is the vibrant city of Belfast, birthplace of the RMS Titanic and capital of Northern Ireland. You’re free to enjoy a day at leisure, wandering around the historical centre, sampling the city’s renowned food and drink scene or take in sights such as the Grand Opera House, Albert Memorial, Botanic Gardens and Belfast City Hall, culminating at the Titanic Belfast, a state-of-the-art multimedia museum dedicated to the ill-fated ship.
Explore the pretty town’s charming colourful houses, all on the banks of a loch or follow the only roads around the northern part of the island to wonderful views.
Spend time exploring the charming capital and Lerwick of the Shetland Islands. This historic town dates back to the 18th century, wonder around the sandstone building along the waterfront or follow the main street to the modern harbour.
Today we stop at the port of Invergordon. Join us as we visit the famous Loch Ness, which is deep, dark and full of mystery, thanks to tales of the Loch Ness Monster. Why not, visit the Loch Ness Centre and Exhibition, and you’ll have time to scan the waters in search of Nessie.
