This morning we’ll transfer by coach to Girona and enjoy a walking tour of the city. This Includes a visit to the cathedral, an excellent example of Catalan Gothic architecture. You’ll also explore the old fortifications, offering panoramic views of the city and the stunning surrounding countryside. There’s also the chance to see El Call; Girona’s Jewish Quarter, one of the best preserved in the world. In the afternoon we’ll join Karin for a workshop at the hotel.

This morning we’ll transfer by coach to Barcelona and spend the rest of the day exploring the city with our local guide. You’ll get to wander Passeig de Gracia; one of the most famous streets in the city, as well as taking in the scenic views of Montjuic; a prominent hill overlooking Barcelona’s harbour. You’ll also get to see some of Gaudi’s masterpieces such as Sagrada Familia, Casa Batllo and La Pedrera. There’s also the chance to explore Els Encants market; one of the oldest in Europe. You’ll also get to browse the Ribes & Casals, a traditional fabric store founded in 1933.

This morning we’ll take a walking tour around some of the older parts of Barcelona with our local guide. Explore the Gothic Quarter located in the centre of the old city. In the centre of this is Las Ramblas, which you’ll walk down, it’s Barcelona’s most famous street connecting the Plaça de Catalunya in its center with the Christopher Columbus Monument at Port Vell. Marvel at the spectacular Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia, one of Barcelona’s main attractions. It dates back 500 years – with its gothic style and stained-glass windows it is a beautiful piece or architecture. You can eat at La Boqueria, a popular food market that offer tapas, paella, steak, seafood and a variation of Catalan wines for you to enjoy. You can also walk around Plaza Catalunya; the centre of Barcelona where some of the city’s most important streets meet.

We bid farewell to Barcelona and transfer to the airport for our return flight to London Heathrow Airport.
