Day 1: London – Turin

We journey aboard Eurostar from London to Paris and continue by train to Turin, where we check in to our overnight hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening.

Day 2: Turin – Florence

After breakfast, we continue our journey by train from Turin to Florence. On arrival we transfer to our hotel where we will be based for the next five nights. This afternoon is free for you to settle in and relax at the hotel or get acquainted with the beautiful city of Florence.

Day 3: Florence

This morning we’ll be joined by a local guide for a walking tour of Florence. It’s no surprise that the entire centre of this enchanting city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As we work our way through the medieval cobbled streets our guide will point out all of the key sights, including various elegant piazzas and palazzos which were designed by artists such as Brunelleschi and Michelangelo, and date back to the 15th and 16th centuries. This afternoon is free for further exploration or a spot of retail therapy.

Day 4: Pisa – Lucca

Today we visit two must-see cities, Pisa and Lucca. We travel to Pisa where we will experience a walking tour of the city, accompanied by a local guide. We’ll have the opportunity to stop at the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa for a photo, followed by some free time at the Piazzo dei Miracoli (or Square of the Miracles) in the heart of the city. Our coach will then take us to our second destination, Lucca. Here, we’ll have a guided walking tour of this Renaissance city before some free time to soak up the sights or indulge in a glass or two of delicious Lucchesi wine. Later this afternoon we travel back to our hotel in Florence.

Day 5 New Year’s Eve: Rome

After breakfast we travel by train to the 'Eternal City' of Rome where we arrive around lunch time. After some free time for lunch we will have a panoramic coach tour of the city, joined by a local guide who will educate us on Italy's iconic capital, as we pass the Colosseum and Roman Forum, as well as an abundance of pretty piazzas and architectural treasures. Later this afternoon we take the train back to Florence where we'll have some time to prepare for our five course gala dinner and New Year's Eve celebrations.

Day 6 New Year’s Day: Florence

Happy New Year! Today is yours to spend at leisure. Why not relax in the hotel and make the most of the comfy lounge bar, or venture out for a stroll along the Arno river, taking in Florence’s magnificent architecture, all right on your doorstep.

Day 7: Florence – London

After a leisurely breakfast, we check out of our hotel and make our way to the airport for our return flight back to London.
