Bellevue Rheinhotel has great reviews on TripAdvisorwith 4.5 star rating and has received a Certificate of Excellence.

The 4 star superior Bellevue Rheinhotel is wonderfully located directly on the Rhine promenade in the heart of the wine growing town of Boppard. The views across the mighty Rhine and its vine covered hillsides covered in vineyards are quite spectacular and can be enjoyed from our beautiful bridge room, from the hotel's elegant restaurants and from its flowered, riverside garden terraces. The friendly service and attention to detail reflects the fact that the same family have owned the hotel since 1887, and it is currently being run by its 4th and 5th generation.

We have INCLUDED for your enjoyment a full day river cruise down the Rhine Valley passing legendary castles and the Loreley Rock, and stopping in the picturesque town of Rudesheim, where you will have time to enjoy this half-timbered town and its famous Drosselgasse.

We have also INCLUDED a wine tasting in the hotel cellars, where you taste five different wines.

You will find plenty to do in Boppard when you are not playing bridge or relaxing in the indoor pool. As a hotel visitor you are able to visit Boppard Castle and Museum FREE of charge, and you will also have FREE use of local public transport, allowing you to easily explore the pretty towns and villages along the Rhine Valley by bus or train for no charge. The train station is a short walk from the hotel. Take the 20 minute ride on the chair lift above the vineyards where you will get a magnificent view of the biggest loop on the Rhine “the Four Lake View”.

During your duplicate bridge holidays nothing is obligatory, you can play in as many or as few bridge sessions as you wish. Our bridge programmes will vary according to the length of your break and in addition to playing bridge, we will always endeavour to provide a minimum of two bridge seminars for breaks of 7 days or more.

All of our bridge holidays include bridge seminars with handouts in addition to a varied and interesting duplicate bridge programme. We use duplimated boards every evening to ensure fairness and consistency. Bridge hand records are provided, as well as bridge partners if needed.

Your duplicate bridge will usually be available twice daily, at 2.30pm and 7.45pm. The afternoon sessions usually finish between 4.45pm and 5pm, the evenings between 10.45pm - 11.15pm. The afternoons are normally given over to open pairs/teams. We endeavour to vary the evening sessions, with a balance between teams and pairs, with at least one Swiss style event during a two-week bridge break.

During all evening sessions, we utilise a duplimate machine, which means we are able to produce hand record sheets at the end of the session and when we have two or more sections, both can play the same hands. On our UK duplicate bridge breaks, provided numbers allow, we usually will lay on an "Early Bird" afternoon session on the day of arrival.

We don’t forget you are on holiday, our bridge programmes allow time for relaxation plus giving you plenty of opportunity to explore the surrounding area and relax.
