In the wake of the massively successful biopic film ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, Queen + Adam Lambert are taking centre-stage at Tokyo’s Saitama Super Arena - and you could be there! This fantastic holiday is an amazing opportunity to join fellow Queen fans for the opening night in Japan of the Rhapsody Tour 2020 and discover the magic of a country that first recognised Queen music almost 50 years ago!

Following the release of Sheer Heart Attack, in the spring of 1975 Queen first set foot as a band in Japan - much to the joy of their loyal fan base there. Upon arrival they were greeted with over 3000 fans ready to welcome them as Sheer Heart Attack had reached number one in Japan at the time - it was a scene reminiscent of Beatlemania in the sixties! Due to their popularity, Queen returned to the country the very next year. These early Japanese gigs feature some stellar performances, and have gone down in Queen fan history as some of their best ever live shows.

The band has always felt a strong bond with the Japanese people, so much so that Brian May penned "Teo Torriatte" - the closing track on their number 1 album, A Day at the Races, as a thank you to the passionate and loyal fans. Their popularity in Japan only strengthened as the years went by and the band's return with Adam Lambert to Tokyo in 2020 is a testament to the strength of their special bond with between Queen and their Japanese fan base.
