New for 2019, we are delighted to have teamed up with Craft Sanctuary to bring you this embroidery retreat. Taking place in the picturesque Sedgebrook Hall, just 15 minutes from Northampton, this 2-night retreat is the ideal opportunity to meet like-minded people, learn a new skill or indulge in your favourite hobby.

Take part in four workshops across the weekend with Royal School of Needlework qualified tutor, Deborah Wilding. The design uses a variety of threads to create an embroidery with a winter theme. On the first day we will create snowflakes and snow embellishments with a three-dimensional look. We will use a variety of straight and feature stitches including open fly, whipped wheels, woven wheels, french knots. We will teach you ways in which these basic stitches can be further embellished to give you more options in your embroidery. On the second day we will add beads and sequins to add to the winter theme and bring an element of icy sparkle to the finished piece.
