Join us for the exciting visit to modern day Singapore over Remembrance Sunday when we look back to the disastrous defeat of Allied Forces in February 1942 when thousands of our soldiers, sailors and airmen became Japanese prisoners of war.
Join us for the exciting visit to modern day Singapore over Remembrance Sunday when we will take part in the ceremony at Kranji War Cemetery, and hear about the disastrous defeat of Allied Forces in February 1942 when thousands of our soldiers, sailors and airmen became Japanese prisoners of war and badly treated for over 3 years in captivity. We will then move on to Kanchanaburi in Thailand to see and ride on the Death Railway where thousands of these prisoners and local civilians died from brutality, sickness, and starvation whilst building this railway to the Burmese border. The tour will end with a visit to Bangkok, and a chance to visit some of the sights in this great capital city.
