This morning we continue our cruise to the island of Patmos, considered by many as one of the most beautiful Greek Islands. We’ll stop for a refreshing swimming break in one of the island’s pretty bays before dropping anchor for a day of exploring. Patmos is a significant Christian pilgrimage site, as it is said to be where St John wrote the Book of Revelation. Join our optional excursion to the ‘Cave of the Apocalypse’ and the Monastery of St John, situated above the island’s capital Chora. Alternatively why not spend the day on one of the many secluded beaches, enjoy a boat trip to the islands of Lipsi, Arki, and Marathi from Skala port or simply stroll through the narrow white-washed streets and admire the views of the Aegean Sea. Enjoy dinner on board this evening as we overnight in Patmos Harbour.
