Restaurant
There are three restaurants onboard which offer true to French culture, fine dining is an important part of life on board Le Paul Gauguin. The Gastronomic on Deck 5 is open only for dinner and offers the finest gastronomic standards in a refined atmosphere. La Véranda is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner (reservations only) and is a sophisticated and elegant experience. Both of these restaurants are ran by Michelin-starred chef Jean-Pierre Vigato, who will cook quality dishes each day. The laid-back, exterior Grill Restaurant on Deck 8 serves breakfast and dinner.
Lounge/Bar
The ship’s main lounge is on Deck 3 and features tea rooms, a bar, a dance floor, live entertainment and access to the exterior terrace. The relaxing panoramic lounge is home to the library, internet space, a bar, occasional evening entertainment and access to the panoramic terrace. There’s also an exterior bar on Deck 8, overlooking the pool deck.
Recreational Areas
The 250-capacity theatre on Deck 5 is where guests can attend traditional shows of Polynesian dancers and singers. The wellness area on Deck 6 is where you’ll find the ship’s spa, salon and fitness centre. The Marina offers activities such as kayaking, paddle boarding, scuba diving are all available. The shop onboard offers traditional Tahitian black pearl jeweller, fashionable clothes, souvenirs, toiletries and has a wide range of gifts.
Sun Deck
With its water blending into the surrounding panoramas, the pool is perfect for a moment of relaxation in the sun. The pool bar offers refreshments throughout the day.
