Scotland has a rich and diverse textile heritage, from weaving and sewing in the home, to full scale mechanized factory textile production, and needlework associations- these all have their part to play in documenting the industrial and social history of Scotland. Accompanied by Pat Archibald, quilter and Edinburgh resident, this tour will take us from Glasgow to Perth via Edinburgh as we explore the history of textiles in Scotland and enjoy three half-day hand sewing workshops with Pat.

Standard rooms
Modern, light and airy, the standard Murrayshall rooms have all recently been refurbished.

Superior room
Located in the original Murrayshall house, the superior rooms offer character and rustic charm in a bright and spacious setting. Wake up each morning to views over the private estate and the Perthshire countryside beyond. Available with double or king bed only.

Deluxe
With a little extra space in which to spread out, the deluxe rooms offer views over the gardens, golf courses or mature woodland estate. Available with twin or king bed.
Please note: Most of the deluxe rooms are located in the original part of the main house but 2 of them are in the lodges, located 50m from the main house.

Fairway Suite
Located fifty yards from the hotel in one of the two lodge buildings and overlooking a tree lined dell between two golf courses. More spacious than the Deluxe and Superior rooms, the Fairway Suite provides a luxurious setting. These suites have facilities as above plus separate lounge area and are available with twin or king bed.

Lyndoch Suite
Located fifty yards from the hotel in one of the two lodge buildings and overlooking a tree lined dell between two golf courses. More spacious than all of the other rooms the Lyndoch Suite provides oodles of space with a large living area with two double sofas. These suites have facilities as above plus kitchenette and garden views and are available with twin or king bed.
