Colourful Crochet Flowers Weekend

Introducing the delights of working 3D flowers we begin our wreath with a simple 8 petal flower to familiarise ourselves with working a continuous spiral, working into back and or front loops and finishing with French knots. We will then progress onto large daisies and learn how to adapt the middle to create a flatter or rounder centre. This will help you gain confidence to branch out and experiment with making your own versions.

Working from all that we learned on day one we begin with double headed flowers working two rounds for the petals and play with different stitches to make larger and smaller petals. We then continue with little rose buds, leaves and little decorative sprigs before assembling our flowers onto the wreath.
