This takes us to Kotor. the most famous historic walled city in Montenegro, with its medieval buildings, cobbled squares, cathedral, and Romanesque churches all within the city walls. We visit Cetinje, the formal royal capital of the Kingdom of Montenegro, where not much has changed since the 19th century, making it the best place to discover the country's history and culture.
A short stroll from the hotel will take you to the exclusive Poronovi marina. Here, you can do some serious shopping, sip a cocktail, or try to spot an A-lister descending from his luxury yacht!

Mark Hooper
Mark is a bridge Premier Life Master, having played competitively for over 30 years. After retiring from a career in IT, Mark has been able to indulge his passion for bridge. While allowing time to play more bridge, he also threw himself in to other aspects such as bridge directing and teaching.
He is an EBU qualified tournament Director, and an EBU accredited bridge teacher, teaching beginners at his local bridge club. He continues to play lots of bridge at a high level, having represented Dorset in major competitions such as the Tollemache, the Corwen and the Pachabo. Mark can be seen at most of the major bridge congresses across the South of England.
Itinerary
Your Bridge Programme
Our bridge programmes will vary according to the length of your break, and, in addition to playing bridge, we try to include interesting bridge seminars, hosted by your EBU-qualified director.
Your duplicate bridge will be available every evening between 7:45pm and 11:15pm. We endeavour to vary these evening sessions, balancing between teams and pairs and featuring at least one Swiss event during a two-week break.
Bridge will also be offered some afternoons between 2:30pm and 4:45pm. These sessions are normally given over to open pairs/teams. On UK holidays, bridge sessions may take place in the mornings instead of the afternoons, complimenting any included excursion programme.
Masterpoints are awarded on evening bridge sessions, and on day sessions with over 5 tables.
During your bridge holiday, nothing is obligatory, and you can play in as many or as few bridge sessions as you wish. We don’t forget you are on holiday and our bridge programmes also allow time to relax, giving the opportunity for you to explore the surrounding area.

You will have free time to explore this tiny town, with its small pastel-coloured low-rise buildings, and laid-back atmosphere.
On day 9, we take a boat trip on the Bay of Kotor and stop for free time in the beautiful coastal town of Herceg Novi, famous for its healing sea mud and other spa and wellness facilities.
